After several years of development, iteration, and plenty of real-world thinking, we’re excited to officially launch v1.0 of The Landscape Estimator.
This release marks a major milestone. What began as an effort to simplify and standardize landscape project estimation has grown into a focused tool designed to help professionals plan, price, and communicate their work more effectively.
What The Landscape Estimator Does
The Landscape Estimator is built to take the friction out of estimating—one of the most time-consuming and error-prone parts of landscaping.
With v1.0, you can:
Build structured, consistent project estimates
Break down materials, labor, and components with clarity
Reduce guesswork and improve pricing confidence
Produce clean, professional outputs for planning and client communication
The aim is straightforward: make estimating faster, clearer, and more reliable.
From Internal Testing to Public Release
Up to this point, The Landscape Estimator has been tested entirely internally. That allowed us to refine the core experience, challenge assumptions, and build something we believe is genuinely useful.
Now, it’s time to open the doors and see how it performs in the real world.
Free Accounts Now Open
We’re opening free account registration starting today.
This phase is about learning—how people use the tool, where it helps most, and where it needs improvement. If you’re interested in improving your estimating workflow, we’d love for you to try it and share your feedback.
What’s Next (Next 3 Months)
Over the coming months, our focus will be on:
Fixing bugs and improving stability
Refining usability based on real usage
Making targeted improvements to core features
This is where the product will evolve quickly, guided by actual user experience.
Paid Plans Coming Soon
Following this refinement period, we plan to introduce paid subscription tiers that include:
Higher usage limits
Additional features and tools
Expanded capabilities for more advanced workflows
These plans could arrive sooner, but we’re intentionally not rushing the process. The priority is to make sure the foundation is solid and that any paid features deliver real, practical value.
